Data Transfer and Task Log
When a task is completed on the device, ScanSPOT transfers the recorded data to the Business Central document and, if you want, posts it. Both are controlled per handling area in the handling setup.
Transfer modes
The fields Update On Finish Activity and Post On Finish Activity each have three values:

| Deactivated | The step is not performed. The data stays in the task, or the document stays unposted. |
| Direct | The step runs immediately on completion on the device. If an error occurs, the user sees it directly. |
| Via Job Queue | The step runs in the background in the job queue. The device is free again immediately. Errors are shown in the Task Log. |
The update runs first, then the posting. The task's Transfer Status shows the progress:

| Pending | Task completed, not yet transferred. |
| Transfered | Data is in the document, not yet posted. |
| Posted | Document posted or registered. The task can no longer be changed. |
| Error | Processing in the job queue failed. |
If a transferred but not yet posted task is reopened, ScanSPOT only transfers the status back to the document.
Job queue
For the Via Job Queue mode, ScanSPOT creates a Job Queue Entry for the codeunit "SP0TS - ScanSPOT Job Queue" during installation (category SCANSPOT, every 1 minute).
The entry is not started during installation. Open the Job Queue Entries, find the entry of category SCANSPOT, and set the status to Ready.
On each run, the job queue processes, for all handling areas with the Via Job Queue mode, the tasks with transfer status Pending or Transfered. Each task is processed individually. If one fails, it gets the status Error, and the others continue.
Tasks with status Error are not retried automatically. Fix the cause, reopen the task on the device, and complete it again.

Actions:
- Show Error Message and Show Error Call Stack for entries with errors.
- Delete Entries Older Than 7 Days and Delete All Entries.
The job queue logs each processed task with success or error. ScanSPOT logs successful operations for individual positions only if Verbose Logging is enabled in the module setup.
