Role Center and Task Menu

On the mobile device, warehouse employees work with the profile ScanSPOT Warehouse Employee - Mobile Device. It opens the Role Center Warehouse App Role Center - ScanSPOT. Assign the profile to the users in Business Central (user settings or user card), or let the users choose it themselves under My Settings.

The Role Center consists of two parts: the Warehouse Activities tiles and the Task Menu.

"Warehouse Activities" tiles

Each tile shows the number of open tasks and, when tapped, opens the task list. Only tasks are counted

• that nobody is processing yet or that the user is processing,
• whose location is one of the locations of the user as a warehouse employee,
• whose handling area is released for the user.

A tile appears only if at least one of its handling areas is released for the user (see Blocking warehouse employees).

Task Menu

In the Start Task area, you start processes for which there is no task yet. Each entry appears only if the handling area is released for the user.

Action	Effect
Ad-hoc Transfer	Starts a movement from bin to bin (see Ad-hoc Transfer).
Ad-hoc Sales Order	Creates a sales order on the device (see Ad-hoc Sales Order).
Ad-hoc Neg. Adjustments	Starts a negative adjustment (outflow) of inventory (see Ad-hoc Neg. Adjustment).
Inventory Overview	Opens the Inventory Overview.
